“Support lines of reputable companies starts with 444 or 850 in Turkey, random GSM numbers are a signal of fraud, please think twice” Yılmaz said.  “Please keep in mind that reputable companies do not ask for payment via WhatsApp lines, they request Credit Card”

Reminding that those who want to rent a car mostly use search engines and the fraudsters who realize this uses special methods to appear at the top of the search engines, Uğur Yılmaz said. “Those who want to rent a car should check the accuracy of the web address they plan to rent; customers may check the actual website from https://www.eticaret.gov.tr/ (Electronic Commerce Information System (ETBIS) of Turkey).
